I’m a somewhat nomadic human that likes to travel and read a lot.

Professionally, I work as a UX designer and have experience working both as a consultant for frog design and as a designer + product owner for a few start-ups. In this space, I’m most interested in the ways design research can discover and map local knowledge enough to craft designed artifacts that truly fit the situation at hand. (read more about my worldview).

The past several years I’ve traveled quite a bit and have had the opportunity to live a month or more in El Salvador, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Bali, China, and Myanmar.
